Prepare knowledge

  1. Create or select a Knowledge collection in the Project.
  2. Upload a supported PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown document within configured limits.
  3. Watch ingestion progress through pending, processing and completed states.
  4. Test retrieval with a representative question and inspect citations.
  5. Assign the authorized collection to an Agent or Workflow.

Document lifecycle

Source storage, bounded extraction, chunking, embeddings and indexing depend on the configured deployment. Archived documents are excluded from retrieval. Retry and re-ingest controls support eligible failures and updates.

Boundaries and quality

Retrieval is filtered by Tenant, Project, collection and active document state. Citations identify retrieved sources; they do not guarantee that every generated statement is correct. Review representative questions and missing-answer behavior before expanding use.
