Author a Tool

1. Open Tool Registry in the Project and create or inspect a draft.
2. Define the bounded input contract and supported implementation binding.
3. Use a controlled mock fixture for development, or an approved read-only operation where supported.
4. Validate and publish an immutable version.
5. Grant that exact version to an Agent or select it in an authorized Workflow.

Publication is not unrestricted execution

Drafts are editable; published versions preserve the reviewed contract. Runtime checks revalidate Tenant, Project, grants and lifecycle. Operational revocation remains effective even when a saved Agent references a previously published Tool.

Inspect actual execution

A proposed model Tool call is not proof of execution. Inspect the actual execution record, validated arguments, sanitized result and trace reference. Mock fixtures must remain clearly identified; they do not establish external connectivity.
